Nik graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003. Since then he has continued his training, including in 2010 earning his postgraduate certificate in root canal treatments, meaning he can take on more complex root canal procedures. In 2012 he became a member of the joint (general dental practice and oral surgery) dental faculties (MJDF) having completed his diploma. This formally recognises high quality patient care. He has also completed a year long part-time course in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry under the guidance of Chris Orr, past president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Nik is fully trained and experienced in the provision of Six Month Smiles.

Nik loves to deliver high quality patient care with the aid of magnification and often works with a dental operating microscope. He is passionate about his work and is always seeking to improve his skills. He has a particular interest in utilising new technologies to enable the best outcomes for his patients.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his two young children, practising photography and is a keen runner and snowboarder.
