Smile Makeovers at Bridge Dental and Implant Centre: a Case Study

When you think about smile makeovers we bet you think of movie and pop stars with their ultra white smiles beaming out from the covers of glossy magazines?

While you’re not wrong, smile makeovers don’t have to give you that super charged Hollywood look (unless that’s the look that you’re going for), but can subtly change your smile using a variety of smile enhancement techniques which leave you with a natural looking smile that you’re proud of. And, you don’t have to go to Hollywood or London either, smile makeovers are available here in Derbyshire too!

The treatments used for smile makeovers are varied and can range from cosmetic orthodontics and whitening, to using laboratory crafted restorations such as crowns, veneers, inlay’s, onlay’s and dental bridges. White fillings can also be used for straightforward fillings in your back teeth where silver ones might have been placed in the past.

We wanted to share this recent case study with you so that you can see how not only our patient’s smile was improved, but as a result the way his teeth functioned too.

He initially presented to us after becoming aware that over a period of time his teeth appeared to be wearing away, had become discoloured and that his bite felt ‘odd’. After a complete assessment with our team of clinicians and lab technician a treatment plan was put in place to restore the teeth with laboratory made restorations which would not only protect and improve the appearance of his teeth, but would restore him to full function too.
