Sophie graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. As a dental therapist she can carry out routine hygiene treatment as well as fillings and tooth whitening. She has worked across several practices in and around Derbyshire and has extensive experience with treating periodontal (gum) disease as well as treating anxious and phobic patients which is where her passion lies.
Sophie is very committed to her patients and always strives to deliver the best quality care in the most comfortable and as pain free manner as possible. Her aim with patients is to be minimally invasive and to encourage preventative care at home which will not only benefit oral health but general health as well.
In her spare time Sophie enjoys going to watch Derby County and has held a season ticket for the club for the past several years. She also enjoys her yoga practice.
